Quotes From the Children’s Holocaust Memorial

We have a Holocaust museum here in Illinois. Cam went as part of a field trip this summer and was impacted tremendously. One of the exhibits is a rail car – a rail car that Cam told me smelled like death. The Holocaust was never real to him until he stood in that rail car.
Standing inside the rail car is an extremely moving experience. Thanks for the comment Dana_Lu.
The experience of having been through the holocaust cannot be felt without actually being a survivor. However – everyone should spend some time in their local holocaust museum and do whta ronman1 is speaking about… it is an experience you won’t soon forget.
We must keep this memory alive and all the memories of the victims and survivors of the holocaust.
I am trying to do that with my father’s memoirs (now available on Amazon.com):
